Feed adapter D=32, piFLOW® i/f
It is important to optimize the feeding point (where the product is conveyed from) for the conveying system to assure maximum capacity and safe transport. The feed adapter is used to add the optimum amount of air to the material flow. It is adjusted to the bottom of a bag dump station (when it is in use), or other equipment such as sieves, big bag stations, mixers, or containers. It features an adjustable air inlet that helps to control the phase of the conveying. If faster conveying is required and the material is not sensitive, dilute phase is needed. In the case of a delicate product, dense phase conveying has to be reached. The air inlet may be covered with Piab Air inlet filters when the risk of cross-contamination needs to be eliminated.
