Textured, rough, and corrugated surfaces

Many product surfaces have a texture, relief, roughness, or even strong corrugation that can cause surface leakage and prevent suction cups from achieving a secure grip. These suction cups are therefore equipped with a foam gasket or super-soft foam rubber lip that seals effectively against structured and highly corrugated surfaces, such as heat exchanger plates or floor tread plates. The semi-porous foam rubber is both compliant and wear-resistant, and is available in different thicknesses to accommodate varying height differences on the object. For slightly slippery surfaces, versions with a friction pattern are available to better withstand shear force. Typical applications include handling stone, tiles, ceramics, fiber boards, coarse wood surfaces, and textured plastic surfaces.
