Glass

Glass sheets are handled and secured by vacuum during the entire manufacturing process. The thin, fragile and surface sensitive objects are handled under high accelerations and short cycle times. The demands for handling these are very specific, first of course is safety, that the suction cups should not leave marks, have a good inner support structure and good sealing capability (over seams). Piab is supplying a number of products into this industry for a number of years.
