Textured, rough and corrugated surfaces

Many product surfaces have a texture, relief, roughness or even strong corrugation that can cause surface leakage and prevent suction cups from achieving a secure grip. These suction cups are therefore equipped with a foam gasket or super‑soft foam rubber lip that seals effectively against structured and highly corrugated surfaces, such as heat exchanger plates or floor tread plates. The semi‑porous foam rubber is both compliant and wear‑resistant, and is available in different thicknesses to accommodate varying height differences on the object. For slightly slippery surfaces, versions with a friction pattern are available to better withstand shear forces. Typical applications include handling stone, tiles, ceramics, fibre boards, coarse wood surfaces and textured plastic surfaces.
