Suction cup BCP40
BCP40 is Piab’s dedicated suction cup for automated handling of cardboard boxes in packaging and intralogistics. With a long, stable bellows stroke of around 25 mm and an approximate 40 mm lip diameter, it offers secure, repeatable gripping of medium‑to‑large boxes and box lids while compensating for normal height variations. Moulded in recyclable, abrasion‑resistant TPE, BCP40 delivers long service life in high‑cycle environments. Its tuned bellows, integrated cleats and optimized lip geometry ensure strong sealing and consistent lifting forces in multi‑cup grippers, even on slightly irregular or dusty boxes. Compatible with a wide range of fittings, filter discs and piSAVE® sense valves, BCP40 simplifies integration into existing vacuum systems and supports energy‑efficient, high‑throughput box handling.
