Piab streamlines piFLOW®p offering to focus on future-ready vacuum conveying

This decision is part of a broader effort to simplify our product range, reduce complexity, and concentrate development resources on our most widely used and future-ready conveying solutions. By doing so, we can accelerate innovation, improve long‑term support, and secure better availability for the products and options that customers rely on most.

What is changing?

The piFLOW®p variants with “Autotuning” and “Conveying Cycle Optimization” will be removed from the configurator at the end of February 2026. All other configurable piFLOW®p models are not affected and will continue to be fully available. piFLOW®p with Batch Volume Optimization is also not affected by this change.

Support for existing installations

Existing piFLOW®p SMART systems in the field will remain supported. Piab will continue to supply spare parts and service for these installations as long as they are in operation, and no later than the end of 2035. Customers can therefore continue to operate their current equipment with confidence and plan upgrades or replacements as before.

Accessories and documentation

Accessories, such as the Pipeline Emptying unit and Air Carrying unit, will remain in our offering. Technical documentation and the ECU‑15 HMI layout will be updated following the phase‑out to reflect the streamlined product range while maintaining an intuitive user experience.

Looking ahead

By focusing on our strongest and most requested vacuum conveying configurations, Piab will be able to deliver even more robust, efficient, and easy‑to‑support solutions going forward.
