      Vacuum ejector piCOMPACT®23 with amplified blow-off

      Amplified Blow-off boosts energy efficiency

      Improved and intelligent blow-off features make vacuum ejector piCOMPACT®23 more energy-efficient.

      Taby, Sweden – Piab’s premium all-in-one vacuum generator platform, the piCOMPACT®23 is now offered with an impressive range of proprietary and patented added features. Noted among these are two unique and specially developed blow-off features that offer customers optimal and energy-efficient vacuum generation for every application.

      The integrated and patented valve of Piab’s proprietary Amplified Blow-off (ABO) feature ensures more efficient, powerful and energy-saving blow-off, enabling faster production cycles. It can also be used to float suction cups whilst positioning them in, for instance, ergonomic lifting aids. Additionally, customers might find that this feature is practical when cleaning suction cups in dusty environments.

      Piab’s second new and unique blow-off mechanism is the patented Intelligent Blow-off (IBO) feature, which automatically switches off the blow-off when the vacuum is no longer present. Hence, this offers the opportunity for further energy-saving.

      “Both ABO and IBO are designed to boost the generator’s energy efficiency performance. And both features are unique to piCOMPACT®23, which means that we are able to offer a truly energy efficient all-in-one vacuum ejector platform that can make a real difference to our customers’ energy budgets, whilst still offering the best possible performance in any application,” comments Joseph Karbassi, Vice President of Piab’s Automation Division.

      In addition, the blow-off features are compatible with other additional features offered as optional extras for piCOMPACT®23, such as the bi-stable (latching) on/off valves that can be used in systems prone to emergency stops or those handling expensive objects, and also the patented Self Adhesion Control (SAC), which cleverly recognises and eliminates any vacuum created in suction cups when the ejector is not engaged.
