As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be a crucial part of a highly skilled R&D team in the Vacuum Conveying division, developing innovative solutions. You will be involved throughout the entire product life cycle from concept and feasibility studies, development of final products as well as maintenance of installed systems.
In addition, you will have an interface to our global application engineering and sales organization with offices in Americas, EMEA and APAC to ensure that the customer perspective is brought into the development work.
You will report to R&D Director Vacuum Conveying division and the position is located at Piab’s head office in Täby, Sweden.
You are passionate about realizing ideas aiming to expand the functionality and performance of our products.
You are quick in analyzing problems and coming up with applicable solutions.
You are comfortable working in teams as well as independently. You should embrace a diverse workday. This could include hands-on development lab-tests and trouble shooting at a customer site.
