Piab launches piSAVE ESS and piSAVE ESL as standalone energy-saving solutions

Piab is expanding its Energy Saving offering with the launch of piSAVE ESS standalone and piSAVE ESL standalone, making our Energy Saving functions known from the piCLASSIC Neo platform available as flexible, independent units that can be integrated into a vast variety of applications.

piSAVE® ESS Standalone and piSAVE® ESL Standalone are fully pneumatic, energy-saving solutions designed to maximize vacuum performance while significantly reducing compressed air consumption and cutting operating costs.

piSAVE® ESS standalone is ideal for sealed materials, ensuring fast, secure object handling with minimal energy use, while piSAVE® ESL standalone is specially developed for challenging, leaking materials, automatically compensating for leakage to safeguard delicate products and process stability.

They provide robust, low-noise, and energy-efficient vacuum control that supports both productivity and sustainability in modern automation environments.

piSAVE® ESS Standalone

  • ensures secure and energy-efficient handling of sealed materials and objects, without compromising on performance.
  • Automatic control of compressed air feed to the pump. Shuts off and re-starts airflow to maintain preset vacuum levels to minimize compressed air consumption.
  • Adjustable vacuum level between 30-90 -kPa. [9-27 -inHg]
  • Large flow capacity with possibility to serve up to 6 COAX MIDI.
  • Minimizes noise compared to continuous airflow operation.
  • User-friendly interfaces for easy maintenance and vacuum level adjustment.
  • Fully pneumatic, self-regulating operation requiring no external control or programming.

piSAVE® ESL Standalone

  • optimized for energy-efficient handling of leaking materials and objects, dynamically adjusting to leakage variations for reliable and efficient vacuum performance.
  • Dynamic and automatic adjustment of ejector feed pressure to achieve and maintain desired vacuum level, minimizing the amount of compressed air used.
  • Adjustable vacuum level between 20 – 70 -kPa, [6-21 -inHg] with user-friendly interfaces for precise control.
  • Prevents unnecessary fluctuations in vacuum, protecting delicate and sensitive material.
  • Reduces noise levels by lowering compressed air usage.
  • Fully pneumatic, self-regulating operation requiring no external control or programming.
