Air Canada is a founding member of Star Alliance™, the world's most comprehensive air transportation network.Air Canada wanted to improve safety around baggage handling and reduce the risk of injury to the handlers.

Solution

The Vaculex® BaggageLift was installed to help with the manual baggage handling at the airport.

Result

Baggage Handler, Air Canada: "Should you hear ANY dissenters, or wish to provide other Stations feedback on this system, I'd like to provide you my "real life" experience. Prior to I took 1000mg of Pain Meds for my back prior to shift start. At 1300 when I break for lunch, I would take an additional 500mg. Since my first shift with I've taken ZERO meds, and I have not had one twinge of back pain at the end of 8 hours on the belt."
