Industrial conveyors – IC series

The IC series has been developed to meet the demands of the manufacturing industry. Some examples of its applications are conveying of plastic powders and granules, ceramic powder, metal powder, colouring pigment, powder for water purification, saw dust and materials used in the manufacture of tires. The maximum material conveying capacity is approximately 2 tons per hour.

Standard configurations

The IC series has 3 standard configurations with different capacities.

Feed point

It is important to optimize the feed point (where the product is conveyed from) for the conveying system to assure maximum capacity and safe transport. There are several types of feed points:

Piping

To complete the conveying system Piab offers stainless steel pipe bends, hoses of food grade, pipe couplings, different types of pipe fittings, pipeline emptying units, injection valves, pinch valves and many other solutions.

Accessories

If the application, for example, requires that the exhaust air is led into the ventilation system to avoid any particles from the conveyed products leaking out in the surrounding environment, a central exhaust can be fitted to the pump.If there is a need to decrease the noise level, there is an option with a free-flow silencer.
