Energy optimisers

It is important to complete the vacuum system with “optimising” control functions that will limit the use of compressed air and/or facilitate the use of a eco-friendly decentralized vacuum system.

AQR - Atmospheric Quick Release valve

AQR (Atmospheric Quick Release Valve) keeps energy consumption for part release to a minimum

Instead of using compressed air to release objects you can use the unique AQRs to provide fast release. The AQR is a valve that breaks vacuum seal in a suction cup, for example, by equalising the pressure with atmospheric air and, at the same time, not consuming additional compressed air.

The PCC automatically regulates the feed pressure towards an optimally programmed vacuum level. Fluctuations in vacuum pressure caused by product variations or changes in cycle time allow the pump to consume only the amount of air which the optimised vacuum level requires.

Vacuum switch VS4128

Unique solution for decentralized vacuum system – sense vacuum at each suction point with one common digital signal out-put

With special pre-wired T-connectors, several electro-mechanical switches, VS4128, can be serially connected to provide one common output signal. A decentralized vacuum system with several vacuum switches and output signals can be “reduced” to just one signal for the PLC or BUS-I/O. The concept makes it very simple to convert from a centralized to a more eco-friendly, decentralized vacuum system since the existing software for a centralized vacuum pump system with, maybe one or two vacuum feedback signals, does not need to be changed.
